SESSION THREE:

A) Benchmark testing: ball skills
Field Players:
1. scoring = forehand/backhand (from 10 meters for 30 seconds)
2. ball control = aerials for distance (8 balls)
3. ball control = figure-8 (for 45 seconds)
Goalkeepers:
1. Kicking through the ball: left foot then right foot (measure average distance of 3 balls)
2. Splitting (three measurements - separate distances, average distance, combined distance)

B.) Learning objective: understand concepts of repossession.
Activities for learning:
1. dispossessing an attack w/ defensive advantage (numbers up)
2. 1v2
3. 2v2+k

C.) Benchmark testing: fitness benchmark testing
1. Flexibility = lumbar inversion (measure combined height from toes and fingertips for lower back)
2. Agility = Lateral hop then sprint (time to complete one interval)
3. Endurance = Beep (level of successful completion)
4. Speed = 43m-25m (split times at each distance and combined time)
