A.) Benchmark testing: ball skills Field Players:
1. scoring = placement in net, alternate left then right (from 10 meters, for 30 seconds)
2. ball control = foot slalom (from 10 meters, for 30 seconds)
3. passing = ball control then release to space (pickup, carry for three steps, release to target 20 meters away, for 45 seconds) Goalkeepers:
1. Stack, recovery, replay to target: timing of breakdown and recovery (three measurements - goal line to 7m ball location, clear target at top of circle 3 meter diameter)
2. Targeted short distance kicking to cage: left side of board from right foot and right side of board from left foot, distance is stroke mark (quantity during 30 seconds)
B.) Learning objective: understand relational movement through space.
Activities for learning:
1. 4v3 from the 30
2. free hit from the 25
3. 3v5 attack from left, then from right
C.) Benchmark testing: fitness benchmark testing
1. Flexibility = sit-reach (measure distance for hamstrings)
2. Agility = Illinois (time to complete one interval)
3. Endurance = Pushups (quantity completed during 45 seconds)
4. Speed = 7m-16m-21m-25m (split times at each distance and combined time)
